A community coalition addressing issues of substance abuse prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation.
Programs:
Friendship House
A social club for people recovering from a mental illness.
Friendship House has been meeting since 1969 and meets twice a month for lunch and a variety of activities ranging from BINGO, craft projects, entertainment, and educational programs
Friendship House depends on volunteers and on financial and
in-kind support from the community.

"I'm Thumbody"
A self-esteem program taught to 2nd & 3rd graders by parent volunteers.
Summer Camp
A two-week camp for children with emotional conflicts or attention deficit disorders.
A project providing Christmas gifts to adults with serious mental illnesses.
RAPE Prevention & Education
Programs on sexual harassment and sexual assault prevention are offered to youth and adult groups upon request.
